Part 1 — Making IBM Cloud feel like IBM

With 60+ designers working across a rapidly growing IBM Cloud, we set out to make a single consistent cloud that is distinctly IBM.

Exploration, iteration, execution, documentation… we took the newly created IBM design language and defined what it ment to products and IBM Cloud's ecosystem.
IBM Cloud needed a major refresh. Nothing was off the table in our explorations.
From exploration to documentation, our small tiger team did it all.
Part 2 — Deceivingly Simple to Actually Simple

At the first glance, the creation of an IBM Direct Link seems pretty easy, just a few form fields. Though the reality is far from being simple, requiring 12+ subsequent steps and multiple support tickets.
2.0.02
We built customers a truly self-service way to spin up new cloud networks by removing the surprising need for multiple support tickets and agents.
TOP LEFT — In-context actions for Transit Gateway set-up.
TOP RIGHT — Redesigned overview pages that guided users to the correct networking solutions.
BOTTOM — Progressive disclosure through Direct Link creation.
